Mechanics
Combat Tag
Taking damage applies a 45-second combat tag; dealing damage does not. The displayed number is the longest remaining tag. [1]
Behavior
Each damage source has a separate tag. Killing a monster immediately clears its tag, and its posthumous hits cannot reapply it. Players can clear tags they applied. Trap and hazard tags must expire. [2]
Damage over time, party members, and their summons do not apply combat tags. Burning, bleeding, poison, and rot still deal damage and count when they cause a kill. [3]
Effects
Controls
Only the attacker can lift a player tag. The command mb forgives the last player hit; mb all forgives everyone tagged; mb followed by a name forgives that player. [5]
